Welcome to Wingman (wingmanapp.live). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Wingman. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
You agree not to:
Wingman uses your GPS location to determine venue check-ins. By using the app, you consent to location access while the app is active. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings, which will disable check-in functionality.
You are responsible for your in-person interactions. Wingman facilitates introductions but is not responsible for what happens when users meet in person. Exercise the same caution you would in any real-world social situation.
By uploading photos, a bio, or sending messages through Wingman, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other users as part of the service. You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim any rights beyond what's needed to operate the app.
The wave and chat features are designed for friendly social interaction. Unsolicited, unwanted, or repeated contact after someone has ignored you constitutes harassment and may result in account suspension.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab or by emailing hello@wingmanapp.live.
Wingman is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of venue data, or the conduct of other users. Venue check-in is based on GPS geofencing, which may be imprecise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wingman and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via in-app notice.
